Dear Sir/Madam,
During a trip to my family’s village in Croatia last summer, we discovered that our family name is spelled; Durovic(croatian d). Do you have information/research related to our family name? They are/were from the the area around Ilovski Klokocevac and Tomasica.
Looking forward to your response.

Džidić families are Croats and they are mostly from Podrinje (Bosnia). In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Herzegovina (Mostar area) and in Podrinje, Bosnia (Kalinovik area). In Vihovići in Podrinje (Bosnia) every sixth inhabitant had the family name Džidić.
