My grandparents were Mate & Yele Jelicich (NZ) from Sucuraj, Hvar. Yele’s maiden name was Juricevich.Her father Paul died in NZ in 1900.I have no other names of my grandparents, parents, siblings etc.My father was Paul Jelicich who came to NZ when he was 15-16yrs and his brother Joseph Jelicich.Can anyone> The name Jelicich is one of the oldest names in Croatia.
Stephen Jelicich in NZ has written a book “From Distant Villages” giving the arrival and history of families who settled in NZ from the 1800’s.
