I just stumbled across this website and find it interesting. My maternal great grandfather was Rudolph Krulich, which I imagine could possibly be what Kruljac turned into after he came to America. Some say the name Krulich came from Kralyich. I was told that he and my great grandmother, Stella Starkovich were Croatian immigrants that came to America in the early 1900’s. I only met them once when I was in primary school. Some census records show they were both Born in Yugoslavia, and others Croatia. It’s all very confusing. I would love to learn where they were actually from and have no family to ask.
