Vukusic is primarily a Dalmatian Zagoran surname that may have appeared when linguistically akin Dalmatic Christians were invited by monks to settle in from Bosnia after Venetians helped to drive out the Ottomans. Vuk means ‘wolf’ which is characteristically central to the pre-slavic Illyrian style of singing described as wolfpack howling that is typical in Dinaric regions of the Balkans.
Hola busco información sobre la familia de mi abuela Matija Vukusic llego a Argentina el 04 de junio 1926 , partio del puerto de Split, en su documento figura como Matilde Vukucich, nació el 15 de noviembre 1909 en Stinica y sus padre se llamaba Gregorio Vukusic y su madre Omma Nasida.
