My mother’s family name was Polich, or Polić. Her parents came from Hreljin, Croatia. Are there any people of this name still in Hreljin? Thank you.

Hi! My greatgreatgrandfather came also from Hreljin to Argentina around 1869, with a friend called Gregor Mikić. He traveled from Genova to Buenos Aires, and then settled down in Tucuman (along with gregor). His name was Karl Polić, son of Josip Polic and Marija Tomasic (i think that was her name). When he arrived to Argentina they changed his name to Carlos Polich. He had six kids, one of them was my greeat grandparent, who was called Mariano Polich. All of Mariano’s four kids where re-named “Poliche”. And thats the way the surname stayed in my country. I would like to know if there is still people with the name Polić over there, and make some contact, get to know how theyre doing after all these years. Thank you very much for this space, looking foward for any reply!
