My grandmother was Anna Bertovic and she was born in Ogulin in 1889. She came to the US of April 1913. Her husband, Thomas Bertovic had come to the US earlier and went back for Anna. They settled in McKeesport PA where Thomas was a steel worker. He died in 1927. Anna lived to be 95 and died in 1984. Anna had three daughters: Mary (who was born in Ogulin and came with her), Catherine, and Francis (my mother). I will be visiting Croatia in May 2015 and would be interested in connecting with relatives during the visit. Please respond to DonnaLGasper@gmail.com
