My Rudman ancestors were from Sosice, Croatia when it was part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire.

My grandfather, father their family traveled to visit the Rudman’s from Chicago in the 1920s and 1930s.
I heard stories of the trip(s) as a young boy. My father passed in 1982. My grandfather, whom I never saw, died in the late 1930s.
Our family is from Sosice.

My father was born in Sosice and his parents immigrated to Canada in 1930. I will be visiting this town this year in the summer. It is very small I hear.

My Rudman great grandfather is from England who arrived with the British Settlers in 1820 in South Africa.
I want to mention as a fact that the Surname is most definite Scottish Anglo.
