So, I’ve heard from my father, and other members of his family, that we are descended from Croatia, partially.
When I inquired about this, my father simply said that our last name, Tuss, was derived from Croatian surnames.
I was wondering if anyone on this site could confirm this or prove it wrong. I am extremely interested in genealogy, and want to learn more about where I am from.

I am trying to do my family tree. My dad was born in Zagreb and was Tusek. If anyone has any resources for tracing in Croatia would be greatly appreciated. Ancestry doesn’t have much for Croatian records. It is tough to find anything so far.
